AR

Bryan and I have been super busy since my last post! Bryan with work, and me with school! I feel like it will never end!! ahh!!
I always wish that the weekends were one day longer. Let's all vote to make every weekend a three day weekend, mkay? Awesome, great!

Also, my little sister, Annie-Rose Robinson, had her three song release party last night!! You are probably thinking, "Becca, why did AR (easier to type than her full name) have a party for 3 songs?"
Well, she went to LA to write/record/produce these songs with a legendary producer named Tommy Henrickson. He has worked with kesha in this past year...and alice cooper. He also worked with lady gaga. Anyways, she had a party to release these 3 AMAZING songs to the public! And probably 100 people showed up to support her! It was really really fun.

If you wanna listen to her stuff go here:

they are the ones that say new next to them. but give them all a listen.

my little sister is BOSS!!!!!!!!!!
This picture is from 2008, but i love it :) me and AR!

confessions of a primary teacher.

Bryan and I were primary teachers in our first ward here in Tennessee. We taught the 7 and 8 year olds, and let me tell you, they are crazy..BUT I love them all so much. We had the experience to see 2 of our primary kids get baptized on Saturday, and it was so amazing. We taught them for 6 months, and watched them grow (or still act like little kids) either one really. But it meant SO much to see them take that step in their lives.
Also, there is a boy in our class named Demytri. He is 10 years old, he is confined to his wheelchair, he can't talk, he can't walk, but he is perfect. Perfect in every way. Dema (his nickname) and his mother are from Russia. They moved to the United States to get better medical care for Dema. He was diagnosed with brain cancer when he was a baby, and had a portion of his brain taken out. He has proved all the doctors wrong that said he wouldn't live as long as he has. He has also proven them wrong by showing how much progress he has made in learning, and understanding people.

Dema has these big blue eyes, a beautiful smile, and makes me happy every time I see him. He fills my heart with love and the Spirit. I never knew I could love a child as much as I love him, but I do. He has put my whole life into another perspective.

When ever he came into primary, he would always be in a bad mood, and I would say, Dema!!!! How are you?? He would roll his eyes at me, and just give me attitude, but 5 seconds later, he would be holding my hand, and hugging me, and wanting me to play with his toys that he brought to church.

I miss Dema a lot. I don't see him as much anymore, now that I am not in his ward, but when I see him, I can't help but smile and be so happy that I have been given a blessing such has him in my life.

Working with Dema was a blessing, and I couldn't be more thankful.

first day of school, first day of school!!

I always think of Finding Nemo around this time and his excitement for his first day of school. haha, so cute. But anyways, today was the first day of school for the winter semester! I don't know exactly how well I will do this semester compared to last but, I will try!!
My schedule looks like this:
MWF:
8:00 am: Kinesiology
9:00 am: World History to 1500
11:00 am: Intro to Philosophy

TTH
12:30 pm: Understanding the Bible
2:00 pm: Aerobic Walking
3:30 pm: Elementary Statistics

It will definitely be a harder semester and bigger workload than last semester, considering last semester I only took 13 credits, and this semester I am taking 16.

It was a good first day back, I saw a few of my friends that I haven't seen since last semester, and enjoyed my first day of classes.

We will see what this semester's future holds.

I am exhausted though, time for me to go to bed, I have been up since 6 am.

our mean neighbor

Well...it all started when we moved in. Every night, we would hear really loud bass from our neighbor downstairs, for hours on end. It was so loud that it shook our kitchen table, the floor, me in the couch etc.

So after 2 weeks of enduring this, Bryan finally went down to meet our neighbor and just tell him that he needs to turn his bass down, in a nice way. Well the guy never answered. We decided to leave a really nice note. After we left it, we never heard bass again. We figured that was the end of it.

Then we got a note 3 days ago from our downstairs neighbor that said something along the lines of this: "The bass is on the lowest level, so it shouldn't be a problem. But keep in mind the walls must be really thin because it sounds like you are constantly stomping on the ceiling, and its louder that our TV/Phone/And people talking etc. So please try to be more careful"

We get the note, and Bryan goes down to talk to him again. The guy doesn't answer the door. So Bryan writes a really nice note again. And he thanked him for turning the bass down. He also explained that we aren't stomping all the time. And that we hear our upstairs neighbors walking all the time. But that we would try to be more careful etc.

Bryan went outside to leave the note and runs into the guy! Well, bryan was sooo nice to him and this guy was SO rude. He told bryan that "he has said everything he needs to say", "that we stomp all the time" blah blah blah. Just a really rude guy.

And just so you guys know, we don't wear our shoes around the house, we NEVER stomp around etc, he is just hearing us walk around occasionally. And there is NO way us walking around is louder than his tv etc.

This guy is just mean....ugh. I don't like someone being mad at us when we did nothing wrong... oh well, all we can do is kill him with kindness.

2011

Holy crap!! It is 2011...I don't know how time flies so fast, but it does! Hopefully this year is an amazing one like 2010 was. I can think of reasons why it will be.
-I turn 21 (kinda cool)
-Bryan and I will be married for 2 years in august of this year (CRAZY)
-My sister Ashleigh, graduates this May.
-I will get another year of school under my belt
-Bryan is getting paid now, so thats always a plus!
-We have our own place, that we love (minus our mean neighbor...I will post about that story later)

I am sure there are more reasons...but those are all I can think of right now. I am also trying to come up with some new year resolutions. Yeah, and if I wanted one of them to be eating right, I definitely got the new year off to a smashing start...not.

Yesterday, I ate a burger at sonic, and the kicker, a red velvet cheesecake blast. SOO good. now, definitely not good for you. But, it tasted heavenly. I recommend it to everyone. So, set aside your goal to eat healthy for one day, and enjoy this treat! :)
